EnterTech at ASU
EnterTech is an entrepreneurial research project originating in the Center and involving a close collaboration with Gene Schwam, chair of the Center for Film, Media and Popular Culture’s EnterTech Advisory Council. EnterTech is a partnership between ASU and Hollywood focusing on the converging entertainment and technology industries. Although research centers do not offer academic programs, the Center for Film, Media, and Popular Culture is working closely with Film and Media Studies and the School of Computing and Informatics to develop a curriculum related to this project. Currently an undergraduate certificate in Entertainment and Technology is offered in Film and Media Studies.
The Center is currently working with our academic partners at Arizona State University in the School of Computing and Informatics, the PRISM Laboratory, the Gaming Laboratory and InnovationSpace to develop an EnterTech laboratory at SkySong to bring together students, faculty and industry professionals in a professional work environment.
